Privacy policy

This site is operated by William Cheung, a real estate salesperson registered with the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO), at Homelife Broadway Realty Inc., Brokerage. It collects as little as it can, and only what you type into it.

What is collected

Contact form: your name, email address, optional phone number, your message, and — when you ask about a specific listing — that listing's reference details.
Saved searches: your email address and the search criteria you saved, so new matching listings can be emailed to you.
Search text: the sentence you type into the search box is sent to the search service to be interpreted and matched against MLS® listings. It is not tied to your identity unless you also submit the contact form.

No account is required, no advertising or analytics trackers are embedded, and no information is sold or rented to anyone.

Why it's collected

To reply to your inquiry, to arrange showings, and — only if you ticked the consent box — to send you new-listing alerts for a search you saved. Consent is asked for explicitly, in line with Canada's anti-spam legislation (CASL). Every alert email carries a one-click unsubscribe link.

How long it's kept

Inquiries are kept while there is an active or reasonably foreseeable working relationship, and afterwards for as long as Ontario real estate record-keeping obligations require. Saved searches are deleted when you unsubscribe.

Who else sees it

Service providers that make the site work — email delivery, database hosting, and the AI service that interprets your search sentence — process this data on William's behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. Where a transaction is under way, information may also be shared with the brokerage and with the professionals involved in your file (for example your lawyer or mortgage broker), and as otherwise required by law or by RECO.

Your choices

You can ask to see what is held about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and you can withdraw consent to alerts at any time. Email william@williamcheunghomes.ca and it will be handled promptly.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page.
